Mushies is a cozy incremental game. Your village grows on one sunny stretch of forest floor. Every worker you'll hire is a shroom with a name, a house, and a job. Optimize your workers with building placement, upgrades, and hats. This demo is a small preview of what's offered in Mushies. The complete game will be released on Steam soon. Thanks for playing; it means a lot to us. Please support Mushies with a wishlist!

These Mushies chat, make friends, and each has a job to do, which makes the village feel alive. The pacing is well judged: just as I wondered what to build next, something new appeared. I enjoyed breaks like swimming to collect dewbells. The Elder's tutorial moves at a good speed, and the game is intuitive enough that you can skip him after a run or two. The game spells out exactly what you'll lose before you re-shroom, which I appreciated. I still hesitated but curiosity won, and the reset felt meaningful. It also left me with questions I wanted answered, like the upgrade tree, which I didn't get to explore fully. The art is a highlight. The shaker is still my favorite, with the builder in his hardhat cap being a close second. I loved being able to add color accents to the houses and seeing which residents live in each one made the village feel like a real neighborhood. I appreciate that it’s a calming game with no heavy timing pressure; I steer away from stressful games. The music is gentle, bouncy, and fun, and it matches the village's easy rhythm. You clearly have a lot of fun ideas; Mushies is definitely on my wishlist.
all sorts of visually broken. trying to "keep playing" after your "fuck you end of the game"screen just crashes the game too.
Which visuals are causing issues for you? Also, your comment history is so negative; please try to be more supportive of indie devs man. I don't even know what a "fuck you end of the game" screen is; I assume our CTA? It's a demo I can't just provide the entire game.
Great job, this is a very interesting incremental. The pacing is great, gameplay kept evolving in cool ways, and the art is beautiful. Keep up the good work!
Prestige to Tier 2 doesn't work for me. Just nothing happens after clicking the Button.
That's the end of the demo for now sadly! I'm adding more content next week
my god bruh stop with the forced dialogue bullshit. im here to watch numbers go up, not read your bottom tier writing. your humor is not funny. you are not original.
1. You can skip any and every dialogue in the game
2. Literally none of this was meant to be humorous it's there to help you learn the game.
3. There's less than 20 sentences of dialogue in a two and a half hour demo.
making me mash my mouse button is not skipping it. giving me a button that actually skips that shit entirely is.
Yeah that's what the large red X in the top right of each dialogue does.
boring tbh.
How so? I'd love some feedback so I can improve the game
simply put, there's nothing going on here. there's no core mechanic. nothing to entice the player. if they've played 400,000 other incrementals.. what about this is unique or interesting?
and even if they haven't, what about this would get them into the genre?
i know this is a difficult thing to nail. i am in the process of several projects that i'm struggling with this very issue right now.
10/10 tosser is basically derpy geodude
Thank you! His arms and general shape were actually based on geodude
Love unlocking new mushrooms, they are all so cute!
Thank you so much!
There was a long delay between the who made this message and the menu screen, I thought it froze- maybe a loading spinner or something to show it's still active. Glad I waited, this played smooth like butter. Lovely.
Thank you for your feedback! I made a new build that I;m releasing next week that fixes the lengthy load times and adds a loader just in case.
